What is the Small Business Digital Adaptation Program?
The Program provides rebates for small businesses so they can access a range of digital business tools. A rebate of $1200 to access selected digital business management tools for 12 months.
How it Works
- take free product trials and workshops
- choose one or more of the Below digital products
- purchase your product and start using it
- apply for the rebate to cover up to 12 months access
- if eligible, you will be able to claim $1200.

Reckon Limited – business management

Square – end-to-end retail
Squarespace – website creation and e-commerce platform
Trade Trak —–trades job management
Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) – automotive services
Xero – business management
Eligibility requirements for this Small Business Digital Adaptation Program
This Program is for sole trader, micro businesses and small businesses.
To be eligible for the program an applicant must:
- operate a business located in Victoria that has been in operation since or before 28 March 2021
- hold an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- have continuously held the ABN since or before 28 March 2021.
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and agree to the conditions outlined in the program guidelines.
Applicants also need to attest that they are currently operating their business and intend to adapt their business to a digital operating environment.Businesses will be ineligible for the program if any information in their application is found to be deliberately false or misleading.
Businesses that received a rebate through any earlier rounds of the program are not eligible to receive a further rebate. Only one successful rebate is allowed per eligible ABN for all rounds of the program.
You will require one of the following forms of identification in your application:
- Driver licence
- Medicare card
- Australian visa
- Australian passport.
Are not-for-profits eligible to apply?
Yes. Not-for-profit entities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission are eligible to apply.
The program will be open until 11:59pm on 18 July 2022, or until the program’s funds are exhausted, whichever comes first.
